Our daily activities

CIRCLE TIME

Exposing children to music during early development helps them learn the sounds and meanings of words. Dancing to music helps children build motor skills while allowing them to practice self-expression. For children and adults, music helps strengthen memory skills.

Dress up play

Dress up play is an important activity that offers kids a chance to use their imaginations, build vocabulary skills and gain confidence.

Story time

We encourage the love of reading. Stories help develop a child's imagination, discover new ideas improve listening abilities, expose children to a larger vocabulary than the spoken word.

Fine motor skills activities

Fine motor skills involve the use of the smaller muscle of the hands, such as when doing up buttons, opening lunch boxes or using pencils or scissors.

Gross motor skills activities

Gross motor  skills are those which require whole body movement and which involve the large muscles of the body to perform everyday functions, such as standing and walking, running and jumping, and sitting upright at the table. They also includes eye-hand coordination skills such as ball skills (throwing, catching, kicking) .

Yoga

Yoga enhances kids flexibility, strength, coordination, and body awareness. In addition, their concentration and sense of calmness and relaxation improves.

About Us

Home daycare- Montessori base

There are a lot of day care centers in Bay shore, our home day care is inspire in Montessori program, where kids  are surrounded by exciting opportunities to develop their skills: they practice opening and closing containers; they learn to button shirts; they identify objects by touch, sort things by color, transfer items with spoons, learn to pour water, put together puzzles, learn to cut with scissors, sew with laces, string beads, and so much more! The activities we offer in the toddler class provide a welcome change from what children typically find at home.

Sensitive caregivers

Children and their caregivers relate in a way that looks much like a dance, with the child leading, the caregiver picking up the rhythm and following. When a caregiver reads and responds to the young child’s messages with sensitivity, the child’s hunger to be understood is satisfied. The conviction that “I am someone who is paid attention to” becomes part of the infant or toddler’s identity.

Trilingual kids

Give your monolingual child the gift of another language

Whether your toddler already speaks a second (or third) language at home, or if you’re simply hoping to give your monolingual child the gift of another language, here is the perfect place to inverse your child in spanish and english. As with mastering any new skill, regular  practice makes a big difference in how quickly a child becomes comfortable speaking another language.
